On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Human Rights and the 15th anniversary of the National Organization of Persons with Disabilities of Serbia (NOOIS), on December 10, 2022, a formal celebration was held in the National Museum in Belgrade, organized by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs – the Sector for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities, and the NOOIS.
The event was attended by Nikola Selaković, the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, H.E. Chen Bo, Ambassador of the Republic of China to Serbia, Ivanka Jovanović, Executive Director of the NOOIS, as well as the representatives of different institutions, disability movement organizations and the media.
In honour of these two occasions, awards were granted to the winners of the competition „EQUAL“ and the photo competition „SERBIA WITHOUT BARRIERS“ for the year of 2022.
Minister Selaković and Ambassador Chen Bo presented the awards to the winners of the competition.
These awards are the result of the joint work of the NOOIS and the Sector for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities. The Embassy of the Republic of China donated 15 laptops, which were awarded to the winners and the NOOIS.
